- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Very Poor Photodynamic Therapy Experience. Hello, I got a PDT treatment here once. The technician seemed very inexperienced. It felt like she was applying the liquid unevenly, and wasn't paying attention to spots that I had pointed out to her. She then put me in front of the blue light without orienting me to how close or how far I should keep myself from the light. Further, the entire lower half of my face wasn't even in front of the light at all. She said that was fine (it's not). The result was a treatment that had virtually no effect. After 2 days, I looked normal, and could leave the house. There was zero therapeutic effect. For such a high price tag (my insurance doesn't cover this treatment), this facility should have better trained staff that are conscientious, careful and better at communicating!
